1. Controller

This website is a personal, non-commercial project. There is no advertising, no analytics and no user profiling.

2. Visiting the website: server log files

The website is hosted by IONOS SE (Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany), acting as processor. When a page is requested, the server automatically logs technical data: IP address, date and time, requested page, amount of data transferred, referring page, browser and operating system.

Purpose: delivering the pages and keeping the server secure and stable. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). According to IONOS, IP addresses in the log files are anonymised and the log files are deleted automatically after a limited period. I do not analyse this data or combine it with other data.

3. Cookies

This website sets no cookies. Individual pages of the former WordPress system that may still be reachable store a technical cookie, pll_language, that remembers the chosen language (lifetime: one year). It is not used for any other purpose; as a language preference cookie it does not require consent.

4. Third-party content

Fonts and images are loaded from this server; there is no connection to services such as Google Fonts. Videos referred to in some notes are linked rather than embedded: a connection to YouTube is only made if you click the link.

5. Contact by email

If you write to me, I process your email address and the content of your message solely to reply. Legal basis: legitimate interest in answering your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The mailbox is also hosted by IONOS. I delete messages once they are no longer needed.

6. Other services

The subdomains kb.sbayer.de, wiki.sbayer.de and cloud.sbayer.de are separate services and not covered by this policy.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Arts. 15 to 21 GDPR). An informal email to the address above is sufficient. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish data protection authority: Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD), C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid, www.aepd.es.

This policy is available in Spanish, German and English. In case of discrepancies, the Spanish version prevails.
